The Basque Biodiversity Centre has a permanent public participation area with the aim of explaining the essence and the functions of Biodiversity.
This is achieved by means of photographs, slides and interactive settings and on-site visits. The exhibition area is designed in a self-guided way, resorting to all necessary systems for its understanding in different languages.
After having visited the different exhibition spaces, visitors can access to the viewpoint on the Madariaga Tower, which offers a wonderful view. By means of small telescopes and binoculars, details of Izaro Island, Laida beach and the marsh can be discovered.
At the end, the visitor, if interested, will be provided with information about the tourist possibilities which the reserve and its surroundings can offer.
